After the transfer of ex-Municipal Commissioner, the frequency of SARATHI complaint resolution dropped from 93% to 39.5% Following the transfer of erstwhile Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Municipal Commissioner Dr Shrikar Pardeshi on February 7, his brainchild, System of Assisting Residents and Tourist through Helpline Information‘s (SARATHI) resolution of complaints has started declining. Since Pardeshi’s transfer, PCMC received 362 complaints, out of which only 143 were resolved till Saturday evening. During Pardeshi’s tenure, weekly meetings were held and the feedback was regularly monitored. With officials now showing lethargy in sorting out SARATHI complaints, PCMC administration admitted to a slowdown in resolving issues.
