Scoring our first century

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all those who have signed the petition so far. Let's celebrate scoring a century in the first 48 hours. Councils must be accountable. They are responsible for protecting our environment. They spend our money. Please help gather more signatures. Guildford Borough Council has spent and budgeted a bit over £4million on the current Local Plan up to the end of its 2016/17 financial year. Of that sum at least £0.9m has been spent on consultants. Given that 1) we the public have paid for these consulting services and 2) GBC makes transparency a principle of its procurement procedure it is not asking to much to see the housing model.
