Student council for Great Valley High School in Malvern PA had elected to do an America Day for Spirit Week in October of 2015. Someone complained and it was retracted and a Heritage Day was put in its place. While celebrating our heritage is certainly of great value we are in this country as Americans. One can celebrate our nation and our own heritage without being exclusive. We are offended that America Day has been removed from Spirit Week at Great Valley High School and are seeking to have it restored immediately in honor of our great nation.
