Thanks to the efforts of “WE, The People” CCABLAC, the “Big Lick” Animal Cruelty is now primarily confined to the private property of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, TN. The “Big Lick” is no longer accepted nor tolerated in the Tennessee Cities such as Franklin, Lynchburg, Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Chattanooga, Brentwood, Nashville, Memphis or Knoxville. CCABLAC has also ended major “Big Lick” Horse Shows in Panama City Beach, FL and Jackson, MS where they had flourished for years. It was done by the use of social media to educating the public regarding the Animal Cruelty, and the First Amendment right to peacefully assemble and protest it.
