Rowland, et al, First Amendment/Civil Rights lawsuit. The “Big Lick” Multi-Millionaires back the actions of Maury County (TN) Sheriff Mr. Bucky Rowland who told Publisher of BillyGoBoy.Com: “TURN OFF THOSE VIDEO CAMERAS”. An $8,000.00 fund raising goal is set to take care of upcoming legal expenses* So far, $ 526.00 has been raised, leaving $7,474.00 to go. Additional legal expenses will include the costs of adding three new Defendants, document preparation, legal process fees, paralegal assistance, legal research, taking the evidentiary Deposition of Maury County Sheriff Bucky Rowland, and possible hiring of expert witnesses. ---------------------------------------------------- This BillyGoBoy.Com article tells the latest developments. Two MAJOR VICTORIES have been won: * A Federal Judge issued an Order on May 30, 2017, “No employee of the Maury County Sheriff Department shall enforce any practice or statute or policy at the 2017 Columbia Spring Jubilee Horse Show taking place on June 1-3, 2017 that will in any way infringe upon Mr. Seay’s First Amendment rights”. * A Federal Judge issued an Order on June 21, 2017, allowing the plaintiff to add Horse Show Manager Mr. David Sisk, Horse Show Ring Master Mr. Callaway Dial and “Big Lick” Videographer/Propagandist Mr. Jerry W. Harris as Defendants in the case. Summons were issued Thursday, June 29, 2017, by the Clerk of Court to be served upon the three new Defendants who include the: * Horse Show Manager – Mr. David Sisk * Horse Show Ring Master – Mr. Callaway Dial * "Big Lick" Videographer/Propagandist – Mr. Jerry W. Harris These persons were part of a group which was allegedly behind Sheriff Bucky Rowland and his Deputies telling people at the 2016 Columbia Spring Jubilee “Big Lick” Horse show to NOT video the “Big Lick” Horses and put them on the internet. YOUR support of this effort, so far, on behalf of “The Horses” is why it has been successful! Please step up now, and help make the difference FOR “The Horses” Who Cannot Speak For Themselves. DEPOSITIONS On March 23 & 24, 2017, four persons with knowledge were subpoenaed to appear in Franklin, TN, on March 23 & 24 2017. In the presence of a Video Court Reporter and Stenographer, these persons were required to answer questions under oath in an attempt to “Get To The Bottom” of what led/motivated Maury County (TN) Sheriff Bucky Rowland to tell CCABLAC animal welfare advocates and BillyGoBoy.com website personnel to “Turn Off Your Video Cameras” while filming at the June 3, 2016 Columbia Spring Jubilee Horse Show. After the Depositions were taken, additional investigation and due diligence were performed by the Plaintiff. On May 17, 2017, a Motion was filed asking the Court for permission to add three persons as Defendants in the First Amendment/Civil Rights lawsuit. MOTIONS On May 24, 2017, the Plaintiff filed an Emergency Motion regarding the 2017 Columbia Horse Show, an emergency Court Hearing held. On May 30, 2017, a U. S. Magistrate Judge ordered Sheriff Mr. Bucky Rowland to NOT do anything to infringe upon Publisher of the BillyGoBoy.Com First Amendment rights at the 2017 Columbia Spring Jubilee Horse Show. As a result, these two videos made on June 1 & 3, 2017 at the Columbia Spring Jubilee “Big Lick” Horse Show were published on the internet and social media. The videos have been viewed over 400,000 times, and reached over 750,000 people. https://www.facebook.com/BillyGoBoy/videos/1207538606035900/ https://www.facebook.com/BillyGoBoy/videos/1230295097093584/ On June 20, 2017, the Federal Court held a Hearing in Nashville on the Plaintiff’s Motion To Amend Complaint (May 17, 2017). On June 21, 2017, the Federal Court issued an Order which granted permission to the Plaintiff to add the three persons as Defendants. On June 26, 2017, the Amended Complaint was filed with the Clerk of Court and Summon will be issued and served on the Defendants.
