This petition is a call for a humanitarian act to Mr. Jean-Luc Schaffanhauser; the French depute in the European Parliament who is active in the Human Rights Committee, to act in the favor of my client, former Deputy Secretary General of the Iraqi Defense Ministry; Mr. Ziad Cattan, who is at immediate risk to be extradited from Jordan to Iraq to face torture and death. إن هذا الالتماس هو دعوة للعمل الإنساني للسيد جان لوك شافانهوسر؛ النائب الفرنسي في البرلمان الأوروبي الناشط في اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان، للعمل لصالح موكلي، نائب الأمين العام السابق لوزارة الدفاع العراقية؛ السيد زياد قطان، الذي يتعرض حاليا لخطر تسليمه من الأردن إلى العراق لمواجهة التعذيب والموت Despite my success in freezing the Interpol's International arrest warrant against him, based on the danger to his life upon handing him over to the Iraqi Authorities requesting him, regardless of the allegations against him for fraud; a financial crime, in which he was sentenced in absentia to serve time in jail for life , but in reality, due to the religious difference as a Sunni Muslim, while his requesters are majority Shia Muslim backed by Iran— this dilemma is no secret to the world that the Iranian backed Shia Muslims are brutal in executing death and torture against any Sunni Muslim regardless if he was even an Iranian; so what do you expect if he was a Sunni from another country?— Not to exclude, the political differences between Mr. Cattan’s party and the current Shia majority party that is currently in power and demanding the Jordanians to expedite handing him over. وعلى الرغم من نجاحي في تجميد أمر الاعتقال الدولي الذي أصدره الإنتربول ضده استنادا إلى الخطورة على حياته عند تسليمه إلى السلطات العراقية التي تطالب به ، بصرف النظر عن ان الادعاءات الموجهة إليه بسبب الاحتيال؛ وهو جريمة مالية حكم فيها غيابيا بالسجن مدى الحياة ، ولكن في الواقع، بسبب الاختلاف الديني كمسلم سني، في حين أن طالبيه هم أغلبية من الشيعة المدعومة من إيران - هذه المعضلة ليست سرا للعالم أن المسلمين الشيعة المدعومين من إيران لديهم وحشية في تنفيذ الموت والتعذيب ضد أي مسلم سني بغض النظر عما إذا كان حتى ايراني. فماذا تتوقعون إذا كان سني من بلد آخر ؟ عدم استبعاد الخلافات السياسية بين حزب السيد قطان وحزب الأغلبية الشيعية الحالي الذي هو حاليا في السلطة ويطالب الأردنيين بتسريع تسليمه As a result of this instant petition, the Iraqi Authorities are now attempting to expedite Mr. Cattan’s extradition so they can put their hands on him in an attempt to assure that the Iranian backed religious and political differences to torture and kill any Sunni Muslim, are executed regardless of any Human Rights Conventions and International Laws.
