I am writing to you today to express my great regret, nay my grief, about your decision to close the Orsa Predator Center.

Orsa is a role model for other Zoos. Not forgetting the staff of the park, who all will lose their jobs in October. The keepers and vets have outdone themselves with the succesful breeding success with the polar bears.

We waited so long for the polar bear cubs in Orsa and now that there are no less than three cubs it's all over! There are even other rare species in the park that need to be protected!

The rare species in Orsa Park have found protection in a unique setting. Closing Orsa is not like closing a factory which can be duplicated easily anywhere in Sweden. It will be very difficult to find the animals new homes which can match the conditions in Orsa.

I do not have the words to describe what I feel. Please, there simply must be another solution - Crowdfunding, government aid, sponsorship, a foundation - that will prevent a closure.

If there's a will - there's a way! Please, reconsider!
