Happy Sunday Walnut Grove,
The 4 lane 216th Street Interchange is under construction and the TOL is seeking your feedback to route trucks off of HWY 1 and onto Walnut Grove streets designated as Minor Collector (local traffic only) in our community plan.
Please voice your concerns on Monday, June 19, 4pm - 7pm at the Langley Events Centre, Banquet Hall. 7888 - 200 Street (Gate 2).
Media has been invited, but to make it an event the TOL will remember we need to make this a multimedia event, please consider dressing up in "hit and run over by a truck" or "gassed by truck exhaust" costumes, Kids and Adults in costumes will make this an event!!!. Take pictures and video and get these to me ASAP after the event. I will send you a shared directory on onedrive and you can post pictures there for the media to take and use. I will need your permission, name and number to share these with media. Time is of the essence so please get back to me ASAP! My contact is graemeharfman@outlook.com
If you want to send your photos and displeasure off yourself the gov and media contacts are here http://no216interchange.com/get-involved/ and of course facebook and twitter (well used during the election to promote Christie as a family person) are important too.
If you want to just wear some signs and skip the costumes, Many neighbours have made signs that are available to you from Linda Nash at 604-888-7373 and her email address is lin.nash@telus.net
