In just over 24 hours we have reached over 200 signatures from the West Babylon community. Gathering that much support in such a short time tells us that we have tapped into something that is a real concern in West Babylon. There is strength in numbers and we would like to double this number before the Board of Education meeting on April 10th. If you signed the petition, please pass it on to your spouse, your sister, your parents and your best friend (anyone who lives in West Babylon…and make sure they log into change.org with our zip code!). If you feel passionately that recess should be a necessary part of the school day, maybe they feel the same. If you want an opportunity to speak to the Board of Education about making recess a right in our schools, we encourage you to come to the board meeting: April 10th, 7pm in the district administration building next to the high school.
