Move WrestleMania 43 from Saudi Arabia to Europe or America

Move WrestleMania 43 from Saudi Arabia to Europe or America
Das Problem
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a passionate supporter of women's and LGBTQ+ wrestling, I am deeply concerned about the decision to hold WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This location presents significant challenges and contradictions with the values of inclusivity and equality that wrestling should promote.
In Saudi Arabia, laws not only restrict the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals but also enforce a patriarchal system that limits the freedoms and rights of women. According to Human Rights Watch, Saudi Arabia is ranked among the countries with the poorest records on LGBTQ+ rights, where being part of this community can lead to severe penalties. Moreover, women in Saudi Arabia face numerous restrictions, such as the obligation to wear full-body coverings, as we witnessed during the Night of Champions PLE. Male wrestlers competes in minimal attire, while female wrestlers are required to cover up completely, highlighting a stark inequality.
WrestleMania is an event that celebrates diversity in sports entertainment. With WWE having notable LGBTQ+ talent on its roster, moving such a major event to a country with laws that contradict these values is disheartening and damages the progress wrestling has made in fostering an inclusive environment.
To truly honor the essence of WrestleMania and respect the diverse audience it serves, I propose relocating WrestleMania 43 to a city that aligns with the values of equality and inclusion, such as London or Paris or somewhere in North America. These cities not only have a rich history with wrestling but are also known for their commitment to human rights and equality. We also saw how much the Europeans love Wrestling at the recent Clash in Paris PLE.
By choosing a location that embraces all identities and ensures that everyone, irrespective of gender or sexual orientation, feels welcomed and respected, the WWE will make a powerful statement about its commitment to inclusion and equality.
Help champion the cause of fairness and inclusivity by signing this petition to move WrestleMania 43 to a location that genuinely supports these principles. Let us stand together to ensure that wrestling remains a beacon of hope and acceptance for all.
