For the first time in history, the Frankfort Schuyler High School varsity football team has achieved the remarkable milestone of reaching the state championship. This achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent. However, we are faced with an unfair challenge that could undermine their efforts.

Currently, our team is ranked first in our region, yet they are set to compete against Moravia High School, ranked fourth, on their home field. This situation puts our boys at a disadvantage, and it's essential that we advocate for a neutral playing ground to ensure a fair chance for both teams.

We believe that the championship game should be played in a neutral location, allowing our athletes to compete on equal footing. It is only just that our team, having demonstrated their excellence throughout the season, should benefit from a fair opportunity to showcase their skills without the added pressure of playing away from home.
