I have started this petition in order to move the away fans to the lower tiers of the stadium of light again.

Reasoning; Away fans have been known and continue to throw, spit and hurdle missles down onto Sunderland fans, men, women and children.

Causing injury and paranoia when attending games.

Secondly, The atmosphere inside the stadium of light is none existant.

Having the away fans in the North stand upper limits any interactions with Sunderland fans. 

Segregation worked against Newcastle United in the FA Cup with a huge number of them travelling, more than usual and they took up seats in the lower north stand behind the goal. The atmosphere was back to how it used to be. Electric! And there were no serious issues or violence and that was the Wear-Tyne Derby! So why can't we do this on a normal match day?

Men, woman and kids a like do not want to be sitting in a very quiet, almost boring stadium or enjoy being spat on from above or hit with Missiles every single home game after paying good money to be there in the first place.

It has sucked the life and soul out of the ground moving the away fans so far out of sight, it almost feels like they are not even there to begin with. What fun is that?.

My proposed solution would be to give the away fans visiting the SOL north stand and north stand upper (if they bring enough fans to validate it), like with Newcastle United in the FA CUP. Sort of like a vertical column with stewards/police either side to segregate the two fan bases. This would mean season card holders would have to move, so it would have to be decided on, hence the petition.

I know I am not the only one who feels this way about the issues presented.

Ha'way lads and lasses, let's get this to the clubs attention.
