We, the supporters of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, respectfully submit this petition to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and relevant cricket authorities regarding the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.

Cricket is a unifying force and a source of national pride for millions of Bangladeshis. However, supporter safety is a fundamental concern. Due to ongoing security concerns and regional tensions, many Bangladeshi fans feel unsafe traveling to India to support their national team during the tournament.

Our concern is not political, nor is it directed against any country or its people. This request is made purely in the interest of safety, accessibility, and peace of mind for supporters who wish to enjoy cricket without fear.

Sri Lanka presents a viable and proven alternative. The country has a strong history of successfully hosting international cricket tournaments, offers a welcoming environment for visiting fans, and provides a neutral and secure setting for players and supporters alike.

We respectfully request that the ICC:

• Schedule Bangladesh’s ICC T20 World Cup matches in Sri Lanka instead of India
• Prioritize supporter and player safety in venue decisions
• Ensure equal and fair conditions for all participating teams
• Acknowledge and address the concerns of Bangladeshi cricket supporters worldwide

Cricket should be a celebration of sport, unity, and respect not anxiety or risk. By taking this step, the ICC can reinforce its commitment to the safety and well-being of fans while preserving the true spirit of the game.

We urge the ICC to consider this request seriously and take appropriate action.
