With the Brookview Solar company having 5-6 "in-person" hearings since January to present their side, now the opposition side with over 800 written opposition signatures is being denied open and public hearings under the Sunshine Act with Township Solicitor and Board choosing to hold all future meetings and hearings "remotely" via Zoom, not even allowing the 25 person indoor and 250 outdoor limitations to have a space and a voice with local government. While Vice-Chair Supervisor Updyke has two solar leases since March of 2017 and took almost 3 years to "recuse" himself, after voting to create inadequate/irresponsible solar ordinances and granting solar company a 4 year extension against the recommendations of the Adams County Planning Commission.
