Motorcycle safety awareness reminders in May and all GPS navigation systems globally
The Issue
This is a general public safety petition that anyone 16 years or older can sign and share for free. This is not political whatsoever. Because motorcycle safety is everyone’s safety.
Two extremely inexpensive (tax dollar free) life saving public safety message reminders.
1: A gentle public safety message reminder similar to amber alert “motorcycle rev” on all mobile devices globally of Motorcycle Safety Awareness (MSA) every May1st and May15th, brought to you by nonprofit (TX-MSA) Texas Motorcycle Safety Awareness. As May is national Motorcycle Safety Awareness month.
2: Integrating TX-MSA motorcycle avatar option with MSA reminders onto all in car navigation systems and mobile GPS navigation systems globally.
Hello my name is Tony Lee Palafox and this is my proposal,
In honor of all the motorcyclists and bicyclists who face the dangers of unaware drivers, it's our heartfelt plea to promote global awareness about motorcycle safety. Statistics reveal that over 18 motorcyclists die every day in the nation not including bicyclist and pedestrians. And 85% are caused by driver error, either not seeing or not looking for the motorcyclist and the left turn is the number one on the list. Mainly because the left turn is the hardest for drivers to make as it takes more time to execute. This is when it is most important to “look twice” as well as the right on red being the second worst to motorcyclists fatalities as drivers tend to roll through them without “looking twice”. This is at an alarming rate that urgently calls for immediate preventive measures. To address this crisis, we propose that a Motorcycle Safety Awareness (MSA) public safety reminder with a gentle “motorcycle rev” be featured on all mobile devices globally, similar to amber alert.
This reminder should appear twice during the month of May, as May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month: once on May 1st and again on May 15th. This serves as a reminder of the risks that motorcyclists face daily. Additionally, integrating TX-MSA motorcycle avatar option with MSA reminders onto all in-car navigation and all mobile GPS navigation systems would further reinforce the vital importance of being aware of not only motorcyclists but bicyclists and pedestrians on the road as well. The MSA public safety message reminder “Look twice for motorcycles” should appear on the GPS screen once route is entered and again when approaching major intersections and when coming to turns.
By signing and supporting this petition, you can help honor all fallen riders. Together, we can drive a significant change in public consciousness, save lives, and honor the memories of all the motorcyclists, bicyclists and pedestrians who have lost their lives too soon. Join us in advocating for a safer world for motorcyclists and all who share the road together helping protect riders everywhere. Sign this petition to make motorcycle safety awareness reminders an essential part of our global community's reminder systems. “May” God bless you all and thank you so much for your amazing love and support shown all from all over the world.
