Mosman Council workers spray Glyophsate on parks, pavements and throughout the area.

Monsanto has now been successfully sued because Glyphosate use has been shown to cause cancer (both in humans and animals). It has also been shown to contribute to the decline in bees, by disrupting the microbiome in their stomachs, leaving them susceptible to infection and death. It acts similarly to an antibiotic and there are preliminary findings that it may act similarly on humans and animals.

Germany and 13 other countries have completely banned the use of Glyphosate. Many cities in the US have also banned it.

We are asking Mosman to take the lead in Australia and do the same - stop using it everywhere. (Mosman bans its use in 'Bushcare' areas - which indicates that the Council already has concerns about potential damage).
