We the undersigned hereby petition Moreland Council & Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust - Fawkner Memorial Park to install CCTV at Fawkner Memorial Park to identify and prevent illegal and or inappropriate behaviour including damage of graves and grave stones, which has the potential to stress, worry and upset family and friends of the deceased at the cemetery.
23rd November 2013 a childs grave was desecrated, 5th of June 2018 - 20 graves were vandalised. 26th of July 2021 at least 50 was damaged. How many more times are family and friends going to suffer, losing someone and burying them is bad enough, but to turn up to your loved one's grave to see it damaged not only financially effects the member but it pyshologically  destroys the family member. We lay our loved ones to peace, we find peace when we go visit them. Please help us keep our loved ones in peace for eternity.
