Hi!!

Every year I’ll be going on a long walk from Ajax to Toronto in an effort to raise awareness about causes I would like to make an impact on, last year it was cancer and this year it’ll be for more garbage cans!

I think it’s everyone’s individual responsibility to throw your trash in the garbage can, regardless of how far away they are, there’s a principle when it comes to trails of leaving no trace, and I wish that we as a society can extend that to everywhere. 

In saying that, I think that the cities of @pickering, @ajax, @whitby, @oshawa should think about putting more trash cans in more areas.  I’ve been living in Durham for the last 14 years and it’s becoming progressively worse. 

last year I put up a trash can by dollarama near my house which I was going to empty every two weeks  only to find  out that it was taken down soon after
