Welcome, Mario Karters, to a special Halloween edition of my petitions updates, as I detail a minor discussion on how things are going so far until Wave 6 arrives.
As you may recall, when Wave 4 & 5's full trailers came, they came either on the day after the last spotlight of a previous wave (in the case of Wave 4 & the final Wave 3 Spitlight) or on the exact day of the last spotlight of a previous wave (in the case of Wave 5 & the final Wave 4 Spotlight).
So far, Nintendo of America has released all 4 of the Wave 5 Spotlights showcasing all 8 of its tracks (2 tracks per spotlight).
But much to most people's surprise, the full trailer for Wave 6 has not yet arrived, as they expected that after all the Wave 5 spotlights were released, the trailer would come shortly afterwards.
The Last Wave 5 Spotlight was unveiled by Nintendo of America on Wednesday - October 25th of 2023 (following a trend of Wave 5 Spotlights every Wednesday starting October 4th of 2023), leading some to believe that the Wave 6 Trailer would come on that day, or either Thursday - October 26th of 2023, or Friday - October 27th of 2023..
But as we've seen, it ended up not being the case.
This has now led to people thinking about when the Wave 6 Trailer and the Wave itself will be unveiled within the Holiday 2023 timeframe (Winter 2023, according to other worldwide regions).
If you ask me, I've deducted a few possible timeframes to when the Wave 6 Full Trailer / Release Date Trailer could come...
The week of October 29th / 30th thru November 4th / 5th of 2023 (when WarioWare: Move It! releases).
The week of November 5th / 6th thru 11th / 12th of 2023.
The week November 12th / 13th thru 18th / 19th of 2023 (when Super Mario RPG releases).
Or any day or week from November 19th / 20th onwards.
Once we get our glance at the full Wave 6 trailer, we shall see however much longer will we have to wait until Wave 6 releases, whether it'd be about 1 week after the trailer (like with Waves 2, 4, and 5), about 2 weeks after the trailer (like with Wave 3), or so on.
Until then, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
