A HUGE HI-DE-HO HELLO TO ALL MARIO KARTERS!! ^v^

We got our latest Nintendo Direct today on September 14th of 2023, and my oh my has it given us a bunch of new things to come.

From the additional tales regarding Peach's new game: Princess Peach Showtime! and the remaster of Luigi's Mansion - Dark Moon: Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, to the reveal of F-Zero 99, to the reveal of the Switch Version of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, it has been one crazy Nintendo Direct. Maybe not as crazy as other directs, but crazy nonetheless.

But of course, with this petition, you all came hear on what I have to say regarding the news for the 6th and Final Wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, which is said to come during the Holidays of this year (2023) - either in December again like Wave 3, or perhaps earlier / sooner like with Waves 4 & 5.

And what are my thoughts on it?

Wii Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii is an interesting choice for a Wave 6 track.

Diddy Kong from Mario Kart Double Dash & Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii being revealed had made me simultaneously excited and initially disapppointed. But then...

SURPRISE!!!!

BOOYAHKASHA AND COWABUNGA!!

Pauline, from Mario Kart Tour AND who is the 1up girl, the mayor of New Donk City in the Mario Games, & the mayor of New York City in The Super Mario Bros. Movies, is the next character revealed for Wave 6 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass! She actually & finally made it into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

But wait, that's not all, there's more.

In addition to Diddy, Funky, and Pauline, a 4th and final racer has made it into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass in the form of Peachette, also from Mario Kart Tour (much to the joy of Peachette fans, and much to the dismay of those who didn't want her included in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe).

This Mario Kart 8 Deluxe news is quite a shock because after the reveal of Petey Pirahna, Wiggler, & Kamek for Wave 5 of the MK8DX BCP, we all thought we were going to get only two racers, not four.

This was why I thought Pauline missed out when Diddy & Funky Kong were revealed first.

But boy were we all wrong.

Once I saw Pauline (and later Peachette) in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via the Wave 6 Booster Course Pass Teaser trailer with my own eyes, I was filled to the brim from head to toe with immense happiness.

And in my opinion, Wave 6's news on the 4 characters is the reveal of Pauline & Diddy Kong in Mario Strikers Battle League times two (Get it? Because 2 times 2 equals 4; I love mathematics. ^v^).

This means the total number racers we'll be getting is not 48, but instead, we get 50 racers! FIFTY! WOW!

In both cases (the original total of 48 racers & the new total of 50 racers), this does not count character alts like Breath of the Wild Link; the colorations for Yoshi, Shy Guy, Birdo, the Inklings, & the Miis & their Amibo outfits; & Metal Mario as Gold Mario.

Needless to say, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's roster total of 50 racers is just only one racer shy of having the same number of characters we got for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled when it ended with the Beenox Update around 3 and half years ago back in March 2020: 51 (not including the skins from that game)!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was SO CLOSE to equaling or surpassing Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's Character Roster!

Needless to say, with Pauline's inclusion in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, along with Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, & Peachette, I say in terms of characters, in my opinion, Wave 6 is going to be the best Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass wave ever.

Still, I am NOT quite ready to call this petition a victory just yet, for I still hope Nintendo could at the very least consider additional content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe such as even more additional characters & especially additional vehicles like Wild Wing, wheels, gliders, power-ups like the Mega Mushroom & Ice Flower, and other additional content such as a mirrored version of the 200cc speed class.

When exactly I'll close this petition off and declare it a victory ultimately depends on if Nintendo does implement the above-mentioned content into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or simply moves on to the next installment of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe franchise now that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass AND Mario Kart Tour are BOTH coming to a close (well, the latter will still have old Tours being reused, but it'll only be a matter of time until Mario Kart Tour & its servers eventually& ultimately discontinue unless Nintendo wants to turn it into an offline game / a game that requires no internet to play).

But at least with the Mario Kart news we have now, my biggest wish for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, that being Pauline being added into the game, has finally come true; fulfilled; completed; and a success.

And to think, not only did I dreamt that Pauline would be in a Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Installment, where it is a brand new installment where the Mega Mushroom causes characters to grow giant & run along the track super fast instead of their vehicles growing with them, and where the characters can where various outfits such as Pauline's mini-dress from Mario Tennis Aces...

But Pauline being added into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, amongst other wishes for the game, was something I hoped for via a Water Fountain Wish. And while Water Fountain Wishes are usually what people do just for fun or what people assume is just superstitions, my Water Fountain Wish came true that time. ^v^.

But of course, with Wave 6 confirmed to be the Final Wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, thanks to the narrator's own words during the teaser, a good number of characters will not be making it into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe unless Nintendo decides to add them in. They are...

Mario Kart 7:
- Honey Queen

Mario Kart Tour:
- Dixie Kong
- Nabbit
- Captain Toad
- Poochy
- Hammer Bro, Boomerang Bro, Fire Bro, & Ice Bro (4 characters as variants)
- King Bob-Omb
- Chargin' Chuck
- Monty Mole
- 8-Bit Mario and 8-Bit Donkey Kong Jr.

It would've been very nice to have some characters, especially those who are still stuck in Mario Kart Tour, to be added into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and that would definitely allow MK8DX'S character roster to surpass Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled's roster (Sure, Mario Kart Tour already succeeded in that, but that because it was a Mobile Game that got new content after new content until October 3rd to 4th of 2023.).

But I guess Nintendo can only do so many characters & so much content to implement into their Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Regardless, I'm happy to say that the latest Mario Kart news shows us that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is ending the Booster Course Pass off with a bang, or more appropriately end off with a "VROOM!" Well, at least in terms of characters, that is.

But of course, we'll have to wait and see what else is in store for us in Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass when it is finally revealed in a full trailer, and later released. So stay tuned for at least a couple more updates on this petition before I know for sure whether or not I'll close this petition off.
