At last, we've received the final wave of the Booster Course Pass for the 1st half of it during 2022.

Once 2022 ends & 2023 begins, we shall be awaiting more tracks for the 2nd & final half of the Booster Course Pass for waves 4, 5, and 6.

But that also means that we've got 2023 & possibly the years that follow to continue telling Nintendo and everyone else that the best thing for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to receive is more characters (& maybe alts.), vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content, particularly from Mario Kart Tour.

Because once Mario Kart Tour discontinues, on account of being an Internet-reliant / server-based game, all of its characters & alts., vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content will be gone forever... UNLESS said content gets preserved into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (and/or a future Mario Kart installment; but I'm hoping they get implemented into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, first).

Not to mention that in regards to the biggest addition that Wave 3 brought us, that being the Custom Items feature for Versus & Battle Modes, there are blank / free spaces in the Custom Items menu, implicating that more power-ups could be added into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to fill in those blank / free spaces, as shown in the image above.

Hopefully, additional characters, vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other additional content (especially from Mario Kart Tour to preserve its content into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when Tour discontinues) can be implemented into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via...

A.) A 2nd DLC pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (like how Super Smash Bros. Ultimate had 2 DLC passes).

B.) As unlockable content via a new "Mission Mode" (Beat missions to unlock vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content; and each set of missions has a character to unlock by beating them in a 1-on-1 race) AND/OR an In-Game Shop (Spend in-game currency earned by winning races to unlock characters & alts., vehicles, wheels, gliders, power-ups, & other content).

And or C.) Some other method to implement the content into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
