Morbius: The Espinosa Cut #releasetheespinosacut

The Issue

Sony Pictures,

It’s widely acknowledged that the ‘morbius’ film we received was not the original director’s vision of the how everything was supposed to go. Daniel Espinosa has stated that "I think that I work at my best if I get a lot of decision power. But, in this movies, they're big movies that have a lot of people's interest. It's different processes every time." There was indeed some studio interference in the development of this movie. Many scenes were unfortunately cut in the final product which actually appeared in the trailers for the film. These scenes included a different final fight, more development on the main and side characters, and more! Us, the fans, would want to see Daniel Espinosa’s original and true vision of the film come to life by releasing his cut. It is definitely possible considering that Sony released an editor’s cut of ‘Spider-Man 3’ 10 years after its release.

Please consider our request.
