Moorestown Performing Arts Center Petition

Via this petition, the undersigned hereby respectfully request that the Town Council of Moorestown Township (the ‘Township’) would consider the following request:

To allow the non-profit Moorestown Theater Company (MTC), in a legal arrangement similar to the one between Perkins Center for the Arts (PCA) and the Township regarding the land upon which the Perkins building sits, to have access to the land on which the ‘old’ Moorestown Library currently sits (once the ‘old’ Library is torn down), so that MTC can privately raise the necessary funds to build and run a Performing Arts Center, which would serve as an economic development anchor for our Moorestown Business Districts by bringing many arts lovers, diners, and shoppers to our great town.
