Whereas Alice Normand was awarded a Bachelor of Education Degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and,

Whereas Alice Normand taught for 13 years in elementary public schools in Caddo Parish, Louisiana and,

Whereas Alice Normand completed Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) accredited training in Elementary Montessori Education at Houston Montessori Center and,

Whereas Alice Normand has been a teacher in good standing at Montessori School for Shreveport for 14 years and,

Whereas Alice Normand has deeply and profoundly impacted the lives of many Montessori students and their families over those years,

We the undersigned parents of current and former students of Montessori School for Shreveport, "owners of the school", former students, and stakeholders, petition the Montessori School of Shreveport Board of Directors to reinstate Alice Normand to her position as an elementary teacher at MSS with full pay and benefits pending a full and fair revue of her employment status by the board.
