Abergavenny Road Club are asking for you to help our campaign to support the proposed Velo Park in Llanfoist, Abergavenny. 

The Velo Park is being presented to planning committee on March 1st. We would like to demonstrate our support by asking you to sign this petition highlighting the need for this facility in Abergavenny, and the desire to see it in use.

This purpose-built cycling facility will be available for leisure, coaching, training and competitive cycling, and will cater for cycling on a safe, closed road circuit together with off road recreational mountain bike trails.

It will also be available for other wheeled sports such as disability cycling on adapted bikes, wheelchair sport  and Nordic skiing, together with running and walking. It combines recreational trails with a purpose-built circuit - a traffic free road used as a sports and leisure facility.

Please show your support for this application by signing this petition in regard to the health and wellbeing of our local communities (especially children), continued support for the local cycling clubs and the opportunity it presents to confirm Abergavenny’s reputation as a centre of cycling for recreation and competition.
