On June 4, 2025, I was forced to call the police due to the intimidating and hostile behavior of Ms. Gwendolyn Love, Executive Director of Lunch Break in Red Bank.
When the officer arrived:
He witnessed her come outside in a confrontational and intimidating manner
He calmly said he would speak to me first — then to her
Ms. Love then lied to the officer, attempting to cover up her actions
📄 A police report was filed
🎥 The officer was wearing a body camera — and the truth is on record
After hearing my account, the officer acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and said:
“You may need to go above her authority.”
That statement speaks volumes.
This wasn’t just a misunderstanding. It was an abuse of power, intimidation, and dishonesty from someone in a leadership role at a nonprofit that claims to serve and protect the vulnerable.
We cannot allow any organization to operate above accountability — especially when they serve the disabled, homeless, veterans, seniors, and low-income families.
📢 I’ve filed a civil complaint, requested the security footage, and started a petition for justice.
We will not be silenced.
We will not be intimidated.
We will keep telling the truth — until action is taken.
