Dear Minister, Please pardon my approach in contacting you directly, but the Italian diplomats at the consulate, embassy, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have actively been interfering with my attempts to seek justice by polluting the lawyers with whom I've discussed my case, making it impossible for me to get legal representation on this matter. The only way the Italian diplomacy stop me is corrupting any lawyer contacted by me. Due to this interference, I am appealing to you personally to assist me in obtaining legal counsel. I have all the documentation and reports at the ready, and am ready to take action once I have a lawyer. I also have been campaigning for public support for my case, and have obtained a number of signatures of good people both within Vietnam and internationally, who are ready to champion my cause in any way possible. I realise that you might question why you should help me, a non-citizen. The Italian diplomats are quite keen to sweep my assault under the rug so that they may continue their lives of leisure without causing waves. It is this intent that insults the legal system of Vietnam, the reputation of this beautiful country, and conveys a neo-colonial attitude on behalf of the Italian government. I feel that Vietnam deserves more respect than is being offered by your "friends" at the Italian outposts here in Vietnam, and I ask you please to help me show them they are in the wrong.
