We, the fans of the beautiful game from all over the world, call for immediate and meaningful reform to restore fairness, rhythm, and integrity to football. The sport we love is being undermined by anti-football tactics, time-wasting, and outdated rules.

We demand four simple and effective rule changes:

1. 30-Minute Halves with a Stopped Clock
Real time, real football. Stop the clock when the ball is out of play or the game is paused. Eliminate time-wasting and ensure every match has the same effective play time.

2. 8-Second Rule for Goalkeepers (Enforced)
Revive and enforce the existing 6-second rule (adjusted to 8 seconds) for holding the ball. Penalize with an indirect free kick if exceeded. This is already in the rulebook — it’s time to apply it.

3. 45 Seconds to Cross the Halfway Line After Gaining Possession
No more slow, defensive ball circulation just to run the clock. Encourage forward play and attacking football. If a team fails to cross midfield in time, they lose possession.

4. Automatic Sanctions for Simulation and Time-Wasting
Empower VAR to intervene and penalize diving, fake injuries, and clear time-wasting. Football deserves honesty and flow, not theatre.
