As CAPE TOWN VOTERS, WE REJECT THE SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOUR OF THOSE DA COUNCILLORS WHO TURNED THEIR BACKS ON CAPE TOWN MAYOR DE LILLE on Wednesday, 30th of May 2018, during a Council meeting when she delivered her Budget Speech in the City of Cape Town Council. The following DA councillors turned their backs on the Mayor during a Council sitting and will NEVER AGAIN deserve our votes in the next Local Government elections: MR. GRANT TWIGG – DA METRO CHAIRPERSON MR. MALUSI BOOI – DA COUNCILLOR MR. ANGUS MCKENZIE – DA COUNCILLOR FOR BONTEHEUWEL The fit and proper behaviour for these councillors, if they did not want to listen to the Mayor’s speech, would have been to excuse themselves from the Council sitting.
