Green Line 4 of the Mumbai Metro, currently under construction, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India and is being developed by MMRDA and a consortium of international companies.

On M.G. Road in Chembur, it passes through Pestom Sagar, a sprawling 27-acre residential colony of well educated, socially conscious and peace loving citizens. Strangely the MMRDA has decided to name the Green Line 4 station being constructed in the vicinity of Pestom Sagar as 'Garodia Nagar' station.

It is very plain and clear that Metro stations (and for that matter any mode of transport stations) are named based on the locality where they are situated. This is gross injustice to the citizens of Pestom Sagar that the Metro Station in their locality is named on some other localities name.

As of now this station is under construction, but we strongly believe that this station has to be rightfully named as 'Pestom Sagar' station and would like the MMRDA to amend the station name immediately.
