Why only a week on red ribbon awareness on substance abuse when this has become a national crisis . promote this awareness into at very least a month or a week out of every month in our communities and schools, through volunteer efforts and not have those who promote this turn it into a way to collect overtime pay. Even faith groups , businesses can promote this type of effort on a more aggressive manner. This should be ongoing until the problem starts to decrease and even then make this a continued campaign throughout the nation.
