Many years ago I recall my parents and other elders and adults stress the importance of voting. Voter turnout 50 yrs and back to statehood about 80 to 90 percent of our culture voted . When someone would utter a word and say they didn't vote , our elders would really get on that person to get out and vote. Current voter turnout is very low in comparison to our past. This is one of the main problems that has had a direct effect on our current dilemma . The introduction of pain medication with lack of education on the long term effects of addiction put us in this position with over prescribing doctors , as well as allowing illegal drugs to flow into our neighborhoods . We have allowed this to happen , so we must unite to fix this problem. Prayer alone will not take away the problem , we must be people of action. Please go out and vote. , run for office and defend our culture. Save our children and their children. God bless
