Thanks to our mayor , she has taken a petition for people to start signing . Way to go mayor! We all must unite as one with no political affiliation . This epidemic does not care if you are democrat , republican or Green Party. The intentions of this movement is to unite our people, exercise our civil liberties and rights of free speech and assembly , promote and encourage voting for all citizens , encourage youth to run for political office, bring awareness about failing schools, low voter turnout , have compassion and empathy for the homeless and addicted population, create a network of caring people who want to help and most of all ask and demand for aid from the state for a medical detox facility and a true undiscriminating and compassionate inpatient rehabilitation facility to house not only 20 or 30 patients at a given time but house and make available a center where anyone seeking help can be admitted and treated with dignity and respect. The problems within our leadership and agencies will have to be addressed by the government itself. That is not our job, for as tax paying citizens there are those who get good salaries to control unethical behaviors and white collar criminals as well as high profile drug dealers and illegal immigration . God bless us all especially our innocent children and elderly population who suffer from abuse neglect and hunger due to addiction related situations within their homes.
