I'm a passionate fan of baseball - the sport that has been a significant part of my life. My love for the game has driven me to push for greater accessibility, and this is where San Antonio’s need comes in. It's time for Major League Baseball (MLB) to view San Antonio, the seventh most populous city in the United States, as a destination for the expansion of its teams.

San Antonio has a vast baseball-loving community that is underserved without an MLB team. The city already hosts the San Antonio Missions, a Minor League team, that has a consistent and enthusiastic fan base. This highlights the city's love for baseball and stands as evidence that San Antonio's dedication to a potential MLB team should be unquestionable.

Furthermore, having an MLB team come to our city would stimulate the economy. According to a study by Conventions, Sports & Leisure International, a new MLB ballpark could generate annual economic output of up to $285 million while creating several job opportunities.

MLB, we urge you to explore the possibility of making San Antonio a home for a new baseball team. An expansion in San Antonio would not only satiate the long-standing demand of baseball fans in the city but also contribute positively to the local economy.
