Recognize Madison Bumgarner's 7-inning gem as an official no-hitter

The Issue

On Sunday, April 25, Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner pitched a complete-game, seven-inning shutout and did not allow a hit in the second game of a doubleheader. Starting in 2020, doubleheaders are only seven innings long and therefore, Madison did all that he could possibly do to complete this historic achievement. The 1991 rule that does not consider this an official "no-hitter" should be updated and this should be recognized as a no-hitter in the history books. #MakeItCount
