We have seen an alarming increase in stolen dogs over the past year and a half and haven't seen any action taken from the police to stop these horrible crimes from continuing. Many people know why these dogs are being taken, yet the RCMP seem to have no concern for the safety of our family members. This problem needs to be made a priority as dog fighting also fuels violence and drug trafficking; two issues that are also on the rise in our community. We are hoping to get enough signatures on this petition to present to our MLA Mike Bernier so hopefully he can help us address the issue that is currently on the rise in the Peace Region, and no one else has to go through the pain of losing their pets in such a horrible way.

These animals are not just animals; they are a part of our family and they need your voice.
