Recently, neighborhoods of east Fort Worth rallied together to successfully defeat a developer who tried to put a concrete recycling operation near their neighborhoods.

Since then, we learned another developer is operating 2 concrete recycling operations near Lakes of River Trails neighborhoods without authorization.  No State-required air quality permit.  No City-required zoning.  No public hearings.  The developer just did it!

Concrete recycling is a heavy industrial operation and there are health dangers associated with the very small, fine, quick-moving airborne silica dust created by concrete recycling operations.

We must protect our children and families, our quality of life, and our property values from the negative impacts of unauthorized heavy industrial operations near our homes!
