Greetings All,

This past Wednesday, October 3rd, George Hakopiants, a Field Representative in East Hollywood for local Councilman Mitch O'Farrell's office, met with a group of us and the family at Super Pan regarding the looming deadline.

George expressed his support for the family's bid for more time, but also noted that the office has no legal authority over the arrangement which the family has with the incoming owners of the space. However, he did point out that along with a colleague from City Planning, he would be reaching out to the owner on behalf of Mitch O'Farrell's office and with our petition in mind.

This was on Wednesday evening, and we have not been in touch with George's office since then, but we will follow up with him come Monday morning and update this collectively from thereon accordingly.

Thank you once again for your support in this effort, and we've got a good feeling about presenting a strong case to all of the stakeholders in this matter! At nearly 500 signatures, our collective is rising, making waves, and just getting started.
