Misfitz & Pits is a 501c3 nonprofit foster based rescue located out of Prattsburgh, NY.

Misfitz & Pits is a foster based rescue with fosters located all over Steuben and Yates counties. In the short time Misfitz and Pits has been open they have helped save numerous animals, including dogs and cats, that would otherwise be overlooked. They have even offered to enact local TNR (trap, neuter, release) programs but are being met with resistance. 

Even though they have complied with all the rules and regulations set forth by the village of Avoca they currently trying to be shut down by the local Avoca zoning officer, Beth Peck.

We, myself and those that sign this petition, agree that this rescue is truly making a difference, is an asset to the community, and therefore should remain open.
