Wow! Thank you to all the early supporters! We’ve almost reached 900 signatures in 48 hours! Incredible work but now the hard work begins!
We need every single supporter to go LIKE and FOLLOW our Facebook page, shoot us a message or email if you’re willing to volunteer in any capacity, and keep sharing this petition on social media to gain more support!
We’re currently building our core team of volunteers who will work with the city to see this project come to fruition! We’re in search of the following experience and support for this project:
1. Young and old local skateboarders, bmx street bicyclists, and scooter riders! Having parents and their children involved is a huge part in making sure this happens. The city will need to see the kids and community this will benefit. Stay tuned for city council meeting presentation date, which is when we’d love some families involved to attend with us!
2. Volunteers with experience in graphic design, social media content creation, media production for short videos, and website design
3. Volunteers with civic experience (city government or public projects), non-profit fundraising, service focused community organization experience and business professionals of all types!
