Mismanagement and Discrimination at the Indian Embassy in Poland

The Issue

We, the undersigned members of the Indian community and supporters, are deeply concerned about the state of affairs at the Indian Embassy in Poland under the leadership of Ambassador Nagma Mallick. Over the past months, numerous instances of mismanagement, unprofessional behavior, and discrimination have been reported, causing distress and alienation among the Indian diaspora in Poland.

Key Issues:
Rude and Unprofessional Conduct:
Many Indians visiting the embassy have faced dismissive and unwelcoming behavior from the staff, creating a hostile environment for those seeking assistance.
Exclusion During Official Events:
During the visit of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Poland, a significant portion of the Indian community was excluded from the event. Many who actively contribute to the community were not invited, causing widespread disappointment.
Inhumane Treatment of Visitors:
Elderly individuals, women, and children have reportedly been made to wait outside the embassy in extreme weather conditions without proper arrangements. Such treatment is unacceptable and unbecoming of an institution meant to represent Indian values.
Decline in Service Quality:
Since Ambassador Nagma Mallick took office, there has been a noticeable decline in the efficiency and responsiveness of embassy services. This has left many feeling neglected and unsupported.
Allegations of Discrimination:
Instances of unequal treatment and favoritism have been reported, leading to growing dissatisfaction within the Indian community.
Our Demands:
We call upon the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to:

Investigate the leadership and operational inefficiencies under Ambassador Nagma Mallick.
Take immediate steps to ensure that the Indian Embassy in Poland upholds professionalism, inclusivity, and respect for all visitors.
Establish transparent guidelines for inviting community members to official events, ensuring inclusivity.
Implement measures to improve visitor facilities, especially for the elderly and vulnerable.
Hold the embassy staff accountable for their actions and behavior toward members of the Indian diaspora.
As members of the Indian diaspora, we believe the embassy should be a source of pride and support for all Indians abroad. The current state of affairs is a stark deviation from these expectations, and we demand immediate corrective action.

Sign this petition to show your support for restoring dignity, professionalism, and fairness at the Indian Embassy in Poland. Together, we can ensure that the voices of the Indian community are heard and respected.
