🚨 Consumer Alert: Glo by Voupre Opens at Scarborough Town Centre

The former OROGOLD Cosmetics location at Scarborough Town Centre has reopened under a new name: Glo by Voupre.

This development is noteworthy because Mazal Group, the parent company of OROGOLD and Voupre, publicly identifies both brands as part of its corporate portfolio. The former OROGOLD location at Scarborough Town Centre closed. Prior to its closing, the company received increasing negative online reviews, became the subject of a Toronto Star investigation, and was the subject of a partial Ontario Small Claims Court judgment finding negligence and unfair practices. A new VOUPRE-branded store has now opened in the exact same retail location.

This is not simply a local issue.

In New Mexico, the Santa Fe Spa Center by Voupre (also known as Voupre Spa) reached a $350,000 settlement with the New Mexico Department of Justice following allegations of deceptive and aggressive sales practices. As part of the settlement, the business agreed to provide restitution to eligible consumers and implement significant changes to its sales practices and consumer disclosures.
