Royal Bee London Has Permanently Closed

Royal Bee at White Oaks Mall in London, Ontario has permanently closed.
The closure comes just months after CBC News reported on a 76-year-old woman who said a visit to Royal Bee left her tied to financing for a $6,300 skincare package that could cost more than $10,000 with interest. She alleged that she was pressured and rushed through financing documents she did not fully understand. Royal Bee's lawyer disputed her account and maintained that she knowingly entered into the agreement.
The CBC report followed a 2025 Toronto Star investigation into consumer complaints involving Orogold, Royal Bee and The Soap Tree, including allegations of high-pressure sales tactics and expensive financing agreements.
Now, the Royal Bee location at the centre of that CBC investigation is gone.
We don't know why the store closed, and we won't speculate.
But after consumers have spoken out, complaints have been filed and journalists have brought these experiences into public view, another storefront connected to these concerns has closed its doors.
We will continue documenting developments and advocating for stronger consumer protections against high-pressure skincare sales and financing practices.
