Since December 2021, the owners of Minty's Tyres in Bedfordview have been trashing and removing food and water bowls depriving the feral colony of mostly sterilized (99%) cats there of food, water and preventing our feeders from feeding, trapping and sterilizing cats, which they had been doing WITH permission for the last two years.

This reckless & inhumane persecution policy has led to the cats becoming traumatized as well as suffering as we cannot get trap and assist with medical care. Numerous people have been to talk to them only to be verbally abused or intimidated by armed security and told that they will 'take care' of the cats themselves.

They do not respond to requests for meetings and talks to resolve this and no reason has been provided by them for their actions.

If we are not able to feed and trap there, the misery will escalate with kittens suffering an agonizing death from starvation and neglect and others being forced to survive without help or care and at the risk of poisoning or culling.

And we as their carers will have to carry the trauma and heartache of being helpless to stop it.

As an cat and animal lover and feral cat volunteer ,I simply cannot stand by and let this unjustified cruelty by Minty's continue!

We demand an immediate end to this inexcusable cruelty and unconditional access so that our feeders can feed daily ,TNR and help without further harassment as these animals do not affect them in any way.

We demand Minty's Tyres Bedfordview to stop this cruelty and suffering now.

The kitten in this picture was named Milagre or 'Miracle'. She was eventually caught by hand there, but she sadly passed away from her injuries as we did not get to her in time to save her life.
