The Minor Immunity Movement (M.I.M) is a crucial law under the State of Ohio designed to protect children from abuse in their homes. After three allegations against any person. Regarding any form of child abuse, medical, physical and/or mental abuse or sexual abuse. Person is to be prosecuted under state law of Ohio. Child to child or adult to child. These neglect allegations will be taken into a lawful adjudication. Also prosecuted under state law of Ohio, will be the parent for endangering the well being of the child. And/ or for not reporting the abuse to authorities when incident happened. Whether it involves one child or multiple children, the justice system must take these allegations seriously and begin a lawful investigation. 

Ohio has high rates of domestic violence. Our society needs to show young kids that they have a voice and choice in who they are. We need to demonstrate that there are good adults who will defend their innocence and protect them from harm. Neglectful and abusive homes create troubled, broken youth. Which can lead these same individuals into youth homelessness, addiction, crime, mental illness, suicide and sometimes becoming abusive adults themselves in their future. Let’s start at the root. Their abuser to be prosecuted and punished. Because every child deserves a safe home! 

The M.I.M project aims to secure a law and bill for child rights. So that no child speaks up only to be ignored. It mandates thorough investigation and isolation of the child from the abuser when necessary. It ensured the punishment of knowing adults involved in the child’s trauma. Holding these knowing adults accountable for their child’s safety. This law will ensure that, No child's trauma should be dismissed or overlooked.
