George Floyd, an African American man, was murdered by a police officer named Derek Chauvin on camera and not enough has been done. 

The murder happened on Monday, when the officers responded to a call from a grocery store that claimed Floyd had used a bad check. When they found him in his car, the police claimed he “physically resisted officers” while possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Unlikely, but sure, a completely reasonable excuse for killing a man, right? No.

The officers got George on the ground and Derek Chauvin, a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck as he lay on the ground. In the footage George Floyd, can be heard shouting “I cannot breathe” and “Don’t kill me!” He then grows still, eyes closed, face-first on the road. 

No one deserves to die that way. Especially not for going to a grocery store and writing an allegedly forged check. These men are murderers and must be brought to justice.

The Minneapolis Police Department initially claimed that George Floyd died of a "medical incident" unless there is a medical incident called 'being choked to death by a man, who is supposedly supposed to protect the American people, but instead goes around murdering them' then it was not, in fact, a "medical incident"

The FBI has started to investigate the murder of George Floyd, but knowing the American justice system, they will need to be pressured before anything gets done.
