The Indore-Manmad Railway line will reduce the distance from Mumbai/Pune to key central India locations by 171 kilometers, resulting in lower logistics costs. This is especially significant as the new railway line will pass through the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor nodes of Igatpuri, Nashik, Sinnar and Malegaon; Pune and Khed; and Dhule and Nardana. The tribal sectors of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will benefit from the railway line which will cost around Rs 9,000 crore.

From Indore and Dewas 47,000 containers go to JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust). They go via Ahmedabad and Delhi. It takes eight days for containers to reach JNPT. Indore-Manmad railway line between Indore and Manmad which can carry shipments in just 24 hours,”
