Tēnā Koutou amazing people,
Again a massive thank you to all those who have signed and shared our petition, you are all truely awesome and we would not be at almost 38000 without your help.
Birth Trauma awareness week is happening from the 6th-12th of September and this year it is all about Journey's, many of you have commented on your journey's in the comments of the Petition which is both very brave and commendable of you, we thank you for that and these stories are encouraging us to do better for our future mamas. It is important that we keep these conversations going, as advocates for better health care and education for our new families.
Birth Trauma Australasia support both Australia and New Zealand, and are organising a virtual event where you can register and grab a group of friends and walk and talk. Birth Trauma supports, mother, father and families through dealing with the ongoing effects of Birth Trauma, so be part of the journey, be part of the education and awareness of how this can affect the entire family.
We are 22000 Signatures away from our goal, and while many of you have shared our petition, our social media platforms do not like links that take you away from its platform so generally it is only seen by about 5% of your friends or followers so it is very important that we keep it visible. So please keep sharing, keep talking, and keep the conversation going.
We are truely grateful for the support so far, we could not have done it without you.
Regards
Kirsty and Team
