I am so saddened to share that the only Lipedema clic that we had available to us in the hamilton ont and surrounding area has been shut down, it is said to be due to lack of funding. I do not understand why we are going backwards and not forwards. By providing a Lipedema clinic to us for years, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care is agreeing that Lipedema is an recognized DISEASE in Canada, and yet even what little care we had available to help with treating Lipedema has been taken away from us, leaving us with no one to turn to. PLease I ask that you write a letter to your member of parliament requesting that they give us back our LIpedema Clinic at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, in Hamilton ON. Our numbers are going up quickly in regards to our petition, and I thank you for this, but we now need voices, other then our own to show that we have the support for this cause!
