Hey guys! I know I have been scarce the last little while, and I apologize for that...healing and my family has been top priority for me at this time with what little energy I've had left through out this journey... but this morning excited me and I must share! This picture shows the results of the surgery I have fought so hard to pursue that the Canadian government has yet to recognize as a cure for Lipedema . ....I believe the picture says it all. This Is before, during and today one month after my first set of surgeries! The lipedema pain I no longer am feeling, the pain I have is strictly post surgery pain that I am healing from more and more as the weeks progress. I am watching my entire body shift it's shape and even out proportion wise. ...which was never possible prior to surgery, and my swelling is declining rapidly. Even though the surgery was a extremely rough time physically mentally and emotionally I sit here right this second looking at this picture and smile because for once in a lot of years I am seeing progress, I am seeing and feeling a healing flow through my system.... I am seeing a positive quality and quantity of life laid out before me after this surgery, and i will be forever greatful for this, and I wish for all my Lipedema Sisters to feel what I feel right this second .... and I just want to say.... CANADIAN GOVERNMENT...my fight just got stronger and bigger, I am living proof that Lipedema can be reversed with proper treatment, and this treatment should be available to us in Canada .....it is time to come at you full force and give hope and life back to my Lipedema Sisters !!
